Monday: Students will compose their own food web with pictures they brought from home. EAch organism will be labeled as a producer or type of consumer. Students will also finishe their illustration of the 5 Levels of Environmental Organization.
HW: workbook pages 13-14 due Wednesday, October 24th.
Tuesday: STudents will complete a chapter 2 handout over vocabulary words. When done students will complete a handout on food chains and food webs.

Wednesday: Students will discuss the difference between a niche and habitat. The students will complete “Capturing the Wild Bean” lab. We will end by discussing the lab conclusions and how the inversion of a food chain could disrupt an ecosystem or population of orgainisms. (6.8.2)
Thursday: We will discuss the results of an inverted food pyramid. LAB! Students will complete “Survival is Just a Roll of the Dice.” This lab simultes what can potentially happen to a pack of wolves. (s.p.i. 6.3.3)
Friday: Students will discuss their results of their pack of wolves. We will then predict what can happen to a family of owls. We will then begin to simulate a family of owls with limited adaptations. (s.p.i. 6.3.3)
