Scientist Wanted Poster

DUE: Thursday, September 27. 

Requirements:

Must be typed.
Poster MUST be on an 12 x 18 sheet of paper. ( Mrs. Walker will issue this) 10 points
1. Mug shot – We need to know what they look like! 10 points
2. First, Middle and Last name of your scientist. 5 points
3. Birth Date and Year of Death or if still alive. 5 points
4. What country were they born in and where did they do their work? 10 points
5. What are they famous (wanted) for? You will write a 3 paragraph expository paper using this information.  Your paper should have an Introductory paragraph, a Body paragraph, and a Closing paragraph.  You will be writing to give information about why the scientist is wanted.  Make sure you give examples to support the scientist’s discoveries. 30 points
6. A fact that you found interesting OR a quote by that person. 10 points
7. List your references: type out the website addresses, book titles. 15 points
8. Your name on the bottom right corner. 5 points
